Avoid Stag do disasters abroad

Of the 70% of people choosing to spend their Stag weekend abroad, one quarter will end up in some kind of trouble. Amongst the most common problems are - lost passport/cash/fellow Staggers, illness, getting arrested, being mugged, suffering some sort of injury and (at the very worst) death.

So how do you have the ultimate Stag Party without paying the ultimate price? It's all in the planning.

If you are going abroad remember that you will need your passport, travel insurance, currency and the phone number/address of the British Consulate (may seem dramatic but if you do find your self in a spot of bother the local Police tend not to be overly-sympathetic to 15 drunken Stags....).

Don't rely purely on the best man to sort everything out for you (just because he can tell a few secrets about the Groom doesn't qualify him as a good organiser...) so get a guide book of the area so you least at have some idea where you are meant to be going.

It is often a good idea to get your Stag weekend properly organised by event specialists if you are going abroad, it needn't cost that much more and at least you won't spend your weekend lost in the tulip-fields of Amsterdam!
